The Break Lights, the New Jersey indie rock group, reunite for their 2025 submission for NPR's Tiny Desk Contest. Lead singer Jake Roggenkamp and guitarist Michael Saiewitz first threw their hats into the ring for NPR's Tiny Desk Contest in 2016. Since then, they've continued to craft original music, joined by a rotating lineup of talented musicians. Through it all, drummer Ryan Minieri has been the steady heartbeat of the band, holding down the rhythm since 2016.
